Fame Family Fatal Part 2

 Today, Nina had a date with Adi. Oh yes, because of that incident, Nina gained her popularity back. Nina won the battle, for now. And as a reward, she persuaded Adi to treat her for dinner.

“So, congratulations for your fame which you got it back now.” Adi spoke it out. Nina just smiled.

“Well, I don’t accept the sarcasm but I would like to appraise it as a compliment. Thanks, baby.”

“But I’m wondering, what had really happened to Nita? Pity her. She lost her career just in one night. Everyone booed on her. You were there, right? What happened?”

“Why do you care about her? She’s not your GF. I am. So I’m the one you should be worried about. Not her.”

“What’s wrong with you, Nina? You are not the Nina whom I know four years ago. She’s your sister. Your family.”

Nina slapped the table. “Fine. If you want to care about her, go on. I wouldn’t care. I wouldn’t stop it. Go on, Adi. But you will regret soon. I hate you.”

Again. Nina left Adi behind.

After that event, Nina thought that Adi would called her to say sorry or at least ask how is she. Somehow, that did not happen. The headlines of the newspapers a week after the show…

“NITA AMARIENNA FINALLY ADMITTED THAT SHE COUPLE UP WITH HER SISTER’S EX, ADI DANIEL”

Nina lost her patience again.

“Congrats, Nita. At last you got what you want. Adi really suits you very well. Hope you will end up with marriage.” Fiesa gave a very sincere compliment when they met up that day at Ipoh Parade.

“Thank you, Fiesa. But don’t you hate me? Adi is your ex, right?”

“Well, Nina also did the same thing. Nevermind, forget it. I’m happy seeing two of you.”

“You are so kind, Fiesa.”

Actually, deep in Fiesa’s heart, she was sad. Actually she thought it was enough when Nina coupled up with Adi. But this was extremely beyond the limits when Nina’s twin, Nita did the same thing. Somehow, she forced herself not to do anything beyond the limit.

“Are you sure you don’t want to get your revenge? She’s always making your life troublesome.”

“Can you please stop talking about this revenge crap? She’s my twin sister, okay. Definitely I will never do it. Whatever she did to me is her problem, not mine.”

“I knew that. But come on, Nita. It’s about pride. Get what I say?”

Nita stuck with choices. Actually, whatever that Nina did to her was unapologetic. She also don’t know how she could withstand those stuffs. Maybe because she is too kind. Yes, many people say that.

“I try.”

Uh-oh… Not anymore.

“Sorry, Nina. We don’t want you anymore. We prefer to choose your sister. Many of our readers are demanding to have Nita as a cover girl again.”

What the fuck! Spontanious that f-word popped out from Nina’s mind. This is an outrage. This means war. Nita can’t have it. She has more fame than Nita. So she thinks that she is more suitable to be a cover girl for that magazine.

“But, come on. She is unpopular. People just know her because of her several lame photoshoot and shows. But I am Nina Amarietta. All the boys love me. All the girls idolize me.”

“Apparently, Nita’s fame already surpass your fame. People more know her much more than you know, Nina. I know it’s hard to accept but this is the reality, Nina. We can’t deny the truth. She is more famous than you.”

Nina can feel that her blood flowed like hot lava in her vessels. “She is more famous than you.” No, she can’t take it. This is too much. Nita cannot be more famous than her. She must do something. She must confront Nita. Before this things were more ridiculous than this.

Before she confronts Nita, Nina swallowed a whole sachet of white powder. She was afraid that she might do something out of control to her sister.

“Nita, we need to talk.”

Nita, who was sitting on the cradle at the balcony turned her body, to look at Nina. She placed the magazine which she was reading on the table.

“What’s the matter, Nina?”

“How long have you been in this industry?”

“Nearly six months. Why, Nina?”

Nina pouts her lips. Her hands were on her chest. Looking at Nita grossly. To be honest, she hates Nita so much.

“What’s wrong with you? Why are you so desperately to become as famous as me? Are you already boring with your lame, unpopular life? Until you have to backstabbing your own sister.”

Nita burst into laughter. To her, Nina was talking something which was really nonsense and rubbish.

“Why are you laughing?”

“I don’t understand, Nina. What were you thinking? You say that I wanted to be more famous than you. Are you stupid? You’re Nina Amarietta. I definitely cannot be like you. You’re a star. All the boys are hungry for you. Girls are dying to be like you. Just because I have fans, doesn’t mean that I’m more famous than you. Be matured, Nina.”

“Go to hell with all of this. The issue here is why must you be a model too. You’re jealous of me, right? You are hungry for fame. You are hungry for glamor and fancy life like what I lived…”

“Enough, Nina.” Nita starting burst into tears. She never thought Nina has such a black heart. Nina, her own twin.

“Plastic. Fake. You became a model just want to beat me. Nah, I’m still more famous than you. You can never beat me, Nita. Accept that bitter facts.”

Nita closed her eyes really tight. Trying not to let any tears fall down. She’s really sore with what Nina had just said.

“Whatever you want to say, Nina. You always want to win, right. That’s what you are hungry for. FYI, you are the one who is actually hungry for fame and attention and not me. Get it?!” Nita turned her body towards the balcony. And walked away leaving Nina.

Nina can feels her breathe raced so fast. She ran into a store. Looking for something which was really hard and strong. Then, she found an iron mallet. Heavy and strong.

She got back to the living room. Nita was already sitting on the cradle and starting to read the magazine. Nina raised her hand with the mallet 45 degrees from her shoulder level. Slowly, she walked towards Nita.

Suddenly, she felt very dizzy. Her eyes become blur. She can’t see with a bright vision. Her head felt very heavy. Her breathe was also become stuck at her chest. But she still wanted to finish Nita’s life.

Three more steps to Nita, Nina fell down. Collapsed. With the mallet still firmly gripped in her hand.

“NINA AMARIETTA DIED DUE TO DRUGS OVERDOSE”

“NINA AMARIETTA DIED WHEN SHE WAS IN ATTEMPT TO KILL NITA AMARIENNA”

Both were the headline for tomorrow’s newspapers and entertainment tabloid. Whole nation was shocked and surprised when the news spread. Nina Amarietta, died when her career was at the peak. No one ever thought that will ever happen.

What made this news spread faster is, Nina died when she was in attempt to kill her own twin, Nita. Who will ever expect that? Nina that the Malaysians know is someone who is very humble, nice personality and kind-hearted. So whoever will think of that.

Nina was buried at a Muslim Cemetery, Jalan Gurap at Ipoh townside. All her fans gathered at the cemetery as a last tribute to their idol. Nita was the saddest during that day.

“Nita, calm down sweetie.” Adi try to calm his girlfriend.

“I’m great, Adi.”

After everyone left, Nita demanded to stay for a couple of minutes at the grave. Kartini just obeyed as she understood what her daughter just feels. Fiesa volunteered to keep Nita accompanied.

“Are you okay, Nita?” asks Fiesa after everyone left that area.

Nita’s shaking lips started to smile. She then quickly wipe her tears away. Then smile was shown on her lips.

“Well, this is Nita, okay. Do you remember when Nina fainted and then had a comma few months ago?”

Fiesa nodded.

“Apparently it was my plan. I planned everything to make it smooth. I added more drugs which she usually consume it in her water. So it become more soluble and easily absorbed.”

Fiesa’s jaw dropped down. She never guessed Nita did this but she once refused.

“I know you hate her because of Adi. But I’ve been hurt more than you, Fiesa. I also know her plan to humiliate me at the event by  tearing up my dress. So, I already cut a line on my dress so her plan can be done very well. Then she will think that she won eventhough it wasn’t the truth.”

Fiesa shook her head. Can’t believe what she had just heard.

“Then about Adi. I think it would be better if he talks for himself.”

Suddenly, Adi appeared behind Fiesa. Then he walked to Nita and hugged her shoulder.

“Nina is a jerk. We know that she will be frustrated if I left her. So I left her for a better one. Is it, sayang?”

Nita nodded. She then puts her head on Adi’s chest.

“After that, I know that Nina will confront me for her job which is reducing day by day. And I also know that she will kill me…”

“Wait, how did you know that?”

Nita’s laughed. “We’re twins, Fiesa. We have instinct. Just let me finish this hilarious story. So, I changed her drugs with another drugs which have more side effects than she usually consumed. How stupid of her she never noticed about it. TBH, I was also afraid if the drugs doesn’t show any effects but thank God, it effected her right on time.”

Fiesa just looked at Nita and Adi shared their laughs together. “So, both of you planned all of this?”

“Technically, yes.” They answered simultaneously.

Fiesa also laughed. “God, I’m impressed with both of you. Congratulations to both of you. And somehow, I ship your relationship.”

“Thank you…” And Nita then stared at Nina’s grave. With reddish soil and fresh flowers. She still laughed. “Go to hell, you sister.”

Three of them walked away. As the wind blew, Nita was satisfied. She was not hungry anymore. Besides, she was full. She got all that she wanted. Love, fame and attraction. Also Nina’s death.
